1. Story: Tam and Ara’s adventure!

Little girl Ara encounters Tam on her walk. They soon become friends and have a stroll in the woods. While they try to find somewhere to shelter from the rain, Tam and Ara find a place that they have never seen before in the woods and their adventure starts there. The moment when an audience member starts the Tamara mobile application, they will become the character Ara and join the adventure.

2. Space: between virtual and lived realities!

Playing a part in the story as Ara in the virtual space, individual audience members with their smartphones are guided to walk about 1 km in an open-air place (though an indoor space will probably be included in the route). In 7 spots within the performance site, the participants will be invited to experience some form of augmented reality. In this way, Tamara will offer an opportunity to experience the venue differently, encouraging them to develop an intimate and affectionate relationship with the site.

3. Technology: mobile app, augmented reality and more!

The audience’s virtual and live experience of the adventurous story proceeds as the mobile application with built-in GPS coordinates continues to sense the app users’ changing location within the venue. As the story develops, the participants are guided to follow a map on their mobile screen and move to designated spots, one after another. The interactive experience of the augmented reality and audio drama within the route will allow the audience to more closely interact with the virtual reality in the performance site.
